Great Falls National Park
Joan and I spent two days walking Great Falls National Park. Still playing with the rented lens, I also took my wide angle and my 18-300mm lens as well. [Best_Wordpress_Gallery id=”33″ gal_title=”2015.08.06 Great Falls”]

The High Point cliff area of the Bull Run Mountains Conservancy was closed but we had a nice walk around the lower trains. The photos that I took were with a Nikon D7200 and a rented AF-S NIKKOR 70-200mm f/2.8G ED VR II lens. [Best_Wordpress_Gallery id=”34″ gal_title=”2015.08.05 Bull Run”]
On our way back from Peak Of Otter Lodge we took the Blue Ridge Parkway and the Skyline Drive. I was amazed that the Parkway is free and the Skyline Drive cost $10 per person. The cost of the Skyline is not the surprise, just the prettier Blue Ridge Parkway was free. I recommend taking it when your in the area. [Best_Wordpress_Gallery id=”35″ gal_title=”2015.08.03 […]

Walk around the neighborhood. Amazing the colors of flowers still out in August. This is day one with the rented Nikon AF-S 70-200 F/2.8 VR II lens [Best_Wordpress_Gallery id=”39″ gal_title=”2015.08.01 Walk in Round Hill”]
[Best_Wordpress_Gallery id=”40″ gal_title=”2015.08.01 Blue Moon”] We sat out past our normal bedtime to get a couple of shots of the Blue Moon. The Super Moon turned out better, but not bad.
Just happened that that the day I turned up this site, I grabbed these photos on my morning walk.
