Return to Great Falls
Joan and I dropped down to see what the record snow fall of 2016 and the rain yesterday would look like at the falls. [Best_Wordpress_Gallery id=”25″ gal_title=”2016.02.05 Great Falls”]

The High Point cliff area of the Bull Run Mountains Conservancy was closed but we had a nice walk around the lower trains. The photos that I took were with a Nikon D7200 and a rented AF-S NIKKOR 70-200mm f/2.8G ED VR II lens. [Best_Wordpress_Gallery id=”34″ gal_title=”2015.08.05 Bull Run”]
On our way back from Peak Of Otter Lodge we took the Blue Ridge Parkway and the Skyline Drive. I was amazed that the Parkway is free and the Skyline Drive cost $10 per person. The cost of the Skyline is not the surprise, just the prettier Blue Ridge Parkway was free. I recommend taking it when your in the area. [Best_Wordpress_Gallery id=”35″ gal_title=”2015.08.03 […]
