Haiti Day 5
Today the medical team return to Cabaret for the morning, the construction crew split into to two teams, Eddie, Dave and Ron started some electrical at the Orphanage, and then went to a church close by to repair lighting that burned a while ago. They were able to restore the only lighting, permitting the church to hold evening service again. I remained with Dave, Betty, and Bobby painting the ladies dorms.
Once the medical team returned from Cabaret, they held vacation bible school.
While the VBDS was being conducted, I was taking to the ladies doing some laundry and rembered seeing the irons they were using in ‘history books’
After the VBS the children had their dinner as we prepaired to leave. It is amazing the process to feed the children. Meat is a luxury that is only once a week.
